Bangabandhu Textile Engineering College is a textile engineering college located in Kalihati Upazila of Tangail. The academic activities of the college are managed by  Bangladesh Textile University and administratively the college is directly controlled by the Ministry of Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh. The college was established in 2007. Students who have successfully passed and have received a Diploma in Textile Engineering can apply for admission. Admission is offered once a year, generally in June.BTEC have 120 seats.Admission of BTEC is highly competitive.
